Agriculture in the Classroom would like to thank the following partners:
The Little Green Thumbs program began in Alberta, and we would like to thank Nicholas Jones at www.littlegreenthumbs.org for creating a wonderful program!
Funding for the Little Green Thumbs Saskatchewan project is provided by the Ministry of Environment through the Green Initiatives Fund.
Support for the Little Green Thumbs Saskatchewan program also came from Environment Canada through the EcoAction Community Funding Program. The EcoAction Community Funding Program provides financial support to community groups for projects that have measurable, positive impacts on the environment.
Funding is also provided by Heifer International, an international organization with a mission to end hunger and bring about prosperous communities. Heifer International has inspired the importance of “passing on the gift” to Little Green Thumbs Saskatchewan.
Thank you to Potash Corp for funding our indoor gardening initiatives.
