The Little Green Thumbs Saskatchewan program has hosted a Teacher’s Workshop for all participating teachers in September to start off the school year on a great note.   At the workshops, teachers learn the ins and outs of the indoor gardening kits and how to care for their vermi-composting worms; experience some cultural sharing, program information sessions, and best of all share great conversation and food!

The February 2008, September 2008 and September 2009 Teacher’s Workshops were a great success and we are very excited to continue our work into the 2010/2011 school year.

For the 2010 / 2011 school year, our 4th Little Green Thumbs Teacher’s Workshop is TENTATIVELY planned for Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th, 2010 in Saskatoon. We will be hosting ALL of the teachers in Saskatoon, and will be passing on further information about the workshop in August.
